Friends, Romans and Countrymen! Lend me your ears…

 

   Shakespeare said “All the worlds a stage and we each must play our parts.” Sinatra said “I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king.”(Sinatra also said“doo be doo be doo”but I’m saving that for another night.) Point is, not much has changed in 500 +/- years. And we all at one time in our lives have been the young lovers, fates fool, Kings, Queens and even Court Jesters. My hope for this production is that it will allow us to see a little of ourselves in these performances, and that we will remember this night as a reflection of our own lives; We came, we saw and we laughed...

 

   I would like to present an opportunity to support the Arts as well as a fellow Italian. I have written and am producing a stage performance of very funny Italian themed viniettes and one-act plays. There will also be a special short poetry reading by a popular American-Italian actor. This will be a two night engagement in NYC September 26-27 2014. (Fri-Sat evenings) The program includes;

 

• I Dream of Gina – Life or Art, which imitates which? 

• St. Andrea’s Fault – some lines, physical or metaphorical, just shouldn’t be crossed.

• Accidental Porn – a play…on words.

• Poetry Reading  - a selected short poetry reading.

• The Book of Joey  - a modern day interpretation from the biblical book of JOB.

A little something about myself; I am an award winning screenwriter, NY born and raised with my paternal and maternal lineage spread throughout all points from Milan to Sicily.
